Just had a call from Jen Peel regarding Helen in the qualifier. She narrowly avoided serious injury after having a cliff top (10m high cliff) crumbled under her as she ran along the top of it, she clung to something and was rescued by a Belgian competitor after a few mins, she finished collapsed and cryed. Think I'd better phone her when she gets back to the hotel...

Quote from Hanny Allston's page, a slightly different aspect on cliffs:
"But hey, there were many exciting adventures in the forest too and interesting route choices, particularly the one that saved me over 30sec- jumping straight off an 8m high cliff much to the shock of a nearby observer."
Hope Helen isn't too shaken up by the incident and recovers to run well for the rest of the week. All the best to her and the rest of the team

Matt seems to have had a good run from an early start, but results are very patchy and the radio control appears to be useless. I don't have sound on this machine so if the radio commentry is telling us something that live results and the log are missing please add them here.

Live commentary gone down now and refreshing the live results is taking ages - maybe the system can't cope? Is this the same for everyone?

The live results are SOO slow in going up. Very frustrating. Has Scott had as much of a disaster as it would seem? It certainly had looked as though Helen W had had, but she has done just fine. Rachel's early run it now seems fairly clear was also fine. Jenny's was great.
If anyone has anything from the commentry that I can't hear please put it here.

The live results feeds are running really slowly, but as far as I can tell, currently:
WA Helen W not yet finished in 45 mins.
WB Rach finished, 5th of 10 in 33 mins, should qualify.
WC Jenny finished, 3rd of 13 in 30 mins, will qual.
MA Scott not finished in 56 mins, won't qualify.
MB Graham only been out for 13 mins.
MC Matt finished 3rd of 11, in 30 mins, will qual.
