Niggli - out of 25 split times, fastest on 15, 2nd on 5 and 4th on 2 - last 3 splits not that critical - says it all.

The mess-up over the medal presentation aside, I have to say that the (online) media coverage of EOC2012 has been the best of any international championship that I have watched.

does anyone know if they are showing the tracking in the arena? Have they managed to hide the changeover / warmup area from the screen?

The mens relay courses are an interesting mixture of shorter gaffles that crossover in tricky areas and longer identical legs on easier terrain, causing the packs to be continually remixed. Scott Fraser has had an excellent run maintaining the gap behind the leaders to around 2.40 despite being detached from the main pack.
