Yes, as ER pointed out. One good thing about Nopesport (amongst many) is that items usually get commented on in the forum even if not particularly visible elsewhere. Indeed, this is where I usually pick up news first. But equally, it's easy to miss a thread if not immediately at the top, and there's often a fair bit of chat here! (And just because a thread is short, it doesn't mean there's no interest - it may just not have needed a lot of discussion!).

Thats a good point - you cant support your team if you dont know they are playing!
I suppose the question is is it BOF's role to publicise that sort of thing - and if not - could it be done better on here?
I think there are some ideas and plans in the background to improve the coverage on nopesport, but the cartel are all "grown up" (???

BOF could certainly do a better job here. NOF's coverage of the Norwegian National team is a great example. They employ Ivar Haugen who writes lots of articles, he often travels with the team to races, sometimes even to training camps and when he's not there in person he will phone the athletes to get the story after each race and get some quotes. Examples: http://www.orientering.no/landslag/Sider/default.aspx
Since he speaks to the athletes regularly he'll know if they're doing for example a Swedish elitserien race or a Park World Tour in China so he gets the story by phone from those races too. He even reported before, during and after Mari Fasting competed in the World Champs in Ski-alpinism last Winter and when Audun Weltzein finished about 15th in the Norwegian indoor champs 3000m, I know that if Norwegian orienteers had won a National fell running title Ivar certainly wouldn't have missed an opportunity to get that story!!
I follow other sports like athletics / road racing and the interesting part or hook that gets me interested in following the actual results is usually the backstory or journey of each athlete. With Ivar's coverage or for example
http://www.flotrack.org/
you get that story wheras with BOF's coverage you get: this race happened, these were the results. Occasionally there is a little more but whoever writes the articles these days does not speak with the athletes so often whatever's written reflects more how they see things than the actual journey.
To get people more interested you need more story. Maybe BOF can't do that because they can't afford to employ an Ivar Haugen but even a quick 2 min chat after the race would improve the content that gets reported.
