Spoke to Axel today - if no 2 daughter goes to run for Ravinen (tbc) then he wil be available for a run for Team whatever we are called.

Can all these people just send me a private message on here to confirm when they have booked flights and if there are any doubts as to them running otherwise I will assume the above team is final.

I've taken this on a first come first served basis assuming Mharky will be happy running just one leg for Scotland and Kitch will be busy with the Scotland team.

I also have 2 other people who've expressed interest to me about running jukola (they got in contact on Friday/ Saturday after Ed sneaked the last place). Combined with Axel (above) and Mharky and Kitch they could be 2 people away from a complete team although none of them have confirmed for sure.

My advice would be to post here by 7pm TUESDAY (tomorrow) if you are considering running since the deadline for non-late entry is this week. If there are more people then I would be happy to coordinate getting another entry in.

BTw I would be happy running under a Team England banner - I've been practising wearing black socks with sandals, morris dancing and of course I no longer hate Jimmy Hill. And I'm looking forward to the Ashes.

Don't think so! There's rumours I might do long (Unlikely to be actually) "night," whilst I think Graeme would like the big boys' leg at the end. Grassie is still keen on first I guess.

I am very much willing to give up long "night" if someone else fancies a challenge, but also pretty excited by the prospect in a horribly masochistic fashion
