Sad I miised the opportunity for this as I grew up in the area. I ran at Broxbourne woods a few years ago and enjoyed it. I think Wormley woods might be even closer to my childhood haunts and wish I'd spotted the event as might have travelled the 100+ miles for it.
Diets and fitness are no good if you can't read the map.

Courses for horses
Appreciating the inverted metaphor, I was talking to a fellow volunteer at Parkrun on Saturday who asked about local orienteering (we run under the O-club name at Parkrun). Turned out she had experience in equestrian navigation events (trek?) and fancied trying the foot version. Remembering that this is a child-friendly strand, is the Thelwell brigade another potential recruitment area?
