Earlier in the day I was quite pleased with my time on M45 until I got beaten by over 2 minutes by some Swiss guy called Daniel Hotz. Turns out he has a Wikipedia page, and apparently was World Champion in 1995.

A good report once it was published

In reply to smf making his usual complaint about my usual complaint at least 2 of the above shouldn't impact on the people responsible for publicity (coz they will have happened before the results were known) & in an ideal world the publicity person shouldn't be involved in the team leaders meetings.... leaving the prize giving... which doesn't last all night

And my comment was prompted by the fact that at least one high ranking BOF Official managed to upload photos etc to Nopesport so no reason that BOF Publicity couldn't get a report of these TOP CLASS results online fast... I suspect the WOC media system has more IT available than a beat up old Amstrad machine

Gross without defending the slow response of BOF in responding to "breaking news" I do think it is unfair to Martin to criticise on the basis that he put himself out to keep us updated here. I suspect that he will also have been making informaton available to the appropriate official channels (but if he wasn't it isn't our business anyway). I just thank him for his effort

I'm not criticising Martin at all.... I simply used the fact that an individual was capable of uploading info to the internet quickly.... which is great... so why can't BOF do the same?

As the question of BOF front page keeps coming up can anyone answer the question... who's task is it to get publicity over to the masses? Or is it just a hit or miss affair depending on the availibility & freetime of team officials?

And as for Lorna's comment.... well OK i was mostly wrong but I hope that:

Just a shame there is no free TV or audio like last year. Happily enjoying the middle qualifing - Helen is looking good.

Women's Middle Qual has started.

It looks like a good qualifying run from Rachael, an excellent run from Helen (1:18 behind Simone at control 8 after 18 mins). No split for Claire yet.

Where re you getting those results from? All I can find is live results stuck at around half an hour ago.

This is without doubt the least interesting WOC internet experience I've ever had - it makes the Ukrainians seem brilliant.

So the Swedes are caplable of getting genuinely live results up whilst the organisers are now an hour out of date.

The ladies re over, and I still can't find out the results other than the Brits all qualified.
