Well, on Monday night the organiser said there were 19 clubs coming, so that looks like all of them.

Final Qualifiers
Cup: WAOC, BOK, SOC, OD, HOC, SO, SYO, AIRE,ESOC, DEE
Trophy: LOG, WIM, MV, EPOC, CLARO, FVO. CLYDE, INT, PFO

Start lists should be online very soon (once all the club captains have finished changing their teams and have sent their final lists through )

and SWOC in the Trophy as we won the SW round by narrowly beating NGOC.

Unfortunately we do not have our strongest team out due to Injuries and most of our juniors being unable to travel.

Some old and some new 'faces' in there. 6 Cup teams there from last year, 4 new ones, most notable absentee maybe is NOC! How long since they were not in the final? Will anyone challenge SYO on home turf? 5 Trophy teams as last year and 5 new ones. Can FVO do it again?

No brainer... SYO and FVO...

Our ambition, in our first ever appearance in the trophy final, is to be in the top half...now that would be nice.

How about insisting the winner of the small club competition moves up to the big club competition the following year - might encourage a few clubs to go out and recruit some new members rather than just sitting pretty with their "few" experienced club members.

or letting clubs who can't raise a full cup team move down to the trophy competition where they could enjoy taking part in the Scottish heat and, should they qualify, actually be able to get a viable team for the final?

Andy makes an interesting point. ESOC vs INT makes sense in a Scottish context. ESOC+INT vs SYO makes sense in a UK context. How to make it happen?

Propose that the neighbouring club alliance http://www.britishorienteering.org.uk/downloads/documents/events_appendix_n.pdf be extended to the CSC. With caveats such as no team that has finished in the top five in the last n years can form such an alliance.

Your club captain should be able to provide those for your club - unless he/she has not compiled it yet !
I only received confirmation of all our start slots to which to assign our runners on Wednesday (actually sent Tues evening but other matters prevented me picking it up until Weds). I know at least one other club was in the same position Tues evening so I guess all who needed > 11 start times on any course were the same.

Start lists are not published on the web so that Club Captains can't make crafty changes to the order of their runners to take advantsge of other competitors

1st FVO, 2nd EPOC, 3rd sorry can't remember now on the coach home to Bristol.

A hard phisical area. I know some of our short green runners though they had serious valuer for money...
