FRA still ahead of Finland after looping back. Says something about the pace the front pack is running.

If you zoom in really really close Merz is pulling away from Scott. Come on Scott!

Brilliant from all 3 guys. Really excellent. Have completely "wasted" my day.

I have wasted far too many hours this week with the brilliant Swiss TV coverage and 'shouty' man (as Pers has become known in my house!).

Awesome race. Gutted for Thierry
, but great effort by the British boys. Excellent spectator value - we ended up with three computers side-by-side for the last leg, one with Swiss TV and arena commentary, one with GPS tracking and one with the live results

Re: WOC Relay - who's going to win?
Yes - we came back unexpectedly early from post-WMOC holiday, and this has been a real bonus: the Swiss TV coverage has been excellent.
All this does make me wonder how TV-friendly forest-O could be made for non-orienteers.
It's surely getting there.
Surely a candidate for more internet-TV. We've been glued to coverage of MTB downhill on it, and this looks as if it's surely got similar potential for future, even if terrestrial/satellite don't pick things up.

some goon on theWoO liveblog is having a go at Scotia for 'hanging' - doesn't he realise that that is what happens in relays? They've finally let me give him a piece of my mind though...

Well gone ~GBr. Great runs from GG, JD and Scotia. Another podium place.
One has to feel for Gueorgiou though - 3 years running he's missed out.
He got a huge ovation in the arena though.

TG
Was GPS visible before the start
On the road to 17 I felt very strong, so I decided to attack Valentin (Novikov). I had seen on the GPS that around was very fast, and thr 16, 17 and 18 were on a line, so I skipped the 17th control.
