I voted mainly for you, but greatly preferred her best friend one. What is the gnome all about? Loved the egg.

Ben now ahead on day 2. Donna's lead halved on all other days.
Is this the power of nopesport? Would any orienteers like to enter "Britain's Got Talent" - you're sure to win.

Ben has closed the gap a lot this afternoon, he can really do this. Get everyone voting you can.

I've managed to vote on two of the home computers - but not the third

Re: any chance of your votes?
The website has some software that works out your computer's IP address. It may think two of your machines have the same address.
Speculating a bit, if your ISP gives you a dynamic IP address (ie different IP address each time you log in), then maybe you can fool the website by turning your computer on and off and therefore getting a different IP address?
To find out your IP address in windows, select start, then "Command Prompt", then type ipconfig.

Not necessarily the IP address their website will be able to see. Depends on your ISP, router etc. But enough boring geeky crap, I'll go vote now

It isn't just your IP address: even with a dynamic IP address I couldn't vote again. But a bit of nosing around shows that it stores a cookie on your computer to say that you have voted. Delete that, reconnect to the internet and then you can vote again.

It's not that tricky (if I can do it then it can't be too technically demanding). I'm managing to vote once every 4 minutes or so. Ben has just taken the lead on day 5.

To make everyone's life easier, what is the cookie called ?

On Firefox I click on Tools, Options (from the drop down menu), then on the Privacy tab. Then I click on Show Cookies and amongst the long list of cookies there is a folder called
c905photocompetition.com
I just click on that and click on "remove cookies"

Re: any chance of your votes?
Seems like a pointless exercise of who can get more friends to get round more computers and not about the merit of the photos at all. I voted for some of Ben's photos and some of the others depending on what I thought represented the given word best.
But maybe I'm just a bit of an idealist??
The organiser really needs to get the voters to provide an email address to avoid multiple votes from the same person...

Oh you mean like Steve Redgrave had to in order to become Sports Personalty of the Year through the pages of Rowers World (or whatever it's called). I don't think anyone thought he didn't deserve!
Ben is obviously my favourite photographer - he's the only one there i've met and he did me a favour - he gets my vote - it is unfortunate that some members of my family are being disenfrachised by the IP/Cookie conundrum. So some of these extra votes will redress that balance
