At least one Crickmore will be representing OK Ravinen, so there is still a few spots in our motley crew! Who else will step up?!
Will? We've got proper fire now!

there is a test you know;
define each of the following words according to their sound in spoken English (not their spelling), also identify the one that doesn't exist in Australian speech
"Butter"
"Better"
"Batter"
"Bitter"

I guess I don't have a run at the moment, though I may have to select myself for Scotland.

From my experience, Kitch will be lucky to be running at all so soon after the BG!
....especially if he succeeds in breaking 17 hours.

Re: Jukola/Venla
If we have at least 5 which I believe we do:
Grassie,
Carlyle,
Saile,
Ackland,
Edwards.
I would be keen to enter (I can put forward the payment unless anyone else gets bank transfers for free?). Its 200 euros until 15th may but bank transfers may take a few days. Do we have any good suggestions for names? I have a few but they are too x-rated for this board and I'm aware there are some parents on the team who may not want their offspring asking "What's a..." on their return from Finland...
If Kitch, the Crickmores or anyone else is sure they want to go for this get in touch asap! Likewise if any of the above aren't available/wimped out.

Meat Market,
go for it and put the entry in - agree we have 5 gusting 6 with Kitch we will find 1/2 somewhere.
WRT Team Name, I offer:
"NOPESPORT TEAM BANTER"
(the power of NOPE)

Re: Jukola/Venla
As Becks pointed out Crickmore Jnr was invited to run for Ravinen a while back (and he will be travelling back to Stockholm with them after Jukola for some terrain training).
Ravinen may have spare gaps or bodies and Crickmore Snr was going to wait until after this weekend to see what the situation was before deciding whether to travel or not. One way or another though it looks like the above team is feasible.

I hoping to be running an early leg in the Scotland team, so might be able to run one of the late shorter ones if you need someone to complete the team

Re: Jukola/Venla
Right, I've registered the club: NOPE Team Banter, they should get back to me with some kind of pin code and then I'll be able to enter the relay team.
Ill take the 5 names I mentioned earlier as wanting to run and hold a place for NeilC and a member of the Scotland extended team (Kitch/Mharky) in the meantime until something has been confirmed. If anyone else becomes interested or is going to be there without a run get in touch as soon as possible and I can try and accommodate it. Apparently we can pay on arrival rather than get caught up in bank transfers although I'll email the organiser to check.

Re: Jukola/Venla
If Mharky's lot are running as Team Scotland, maybe we can run as Team England? Grassie must have the residency by now, and one of my grannies was English (one of the Devonshire Gordons...).
Coming soon
