There were flyers being distributed at the S6D about the Edinburgh weekend. I binned mine but I'm sure it was the same corresponding w/e as previous years ie Sat 23rd Jan.

With JOK chasing sprint as an added feature. (I think)

But the scoring spreadsheet says 5 (probably because it was 5 last year).

Column titles now corrected to 'best 4'. The master Excel formulae had already been amended after we lost the putative midsummer race, but I'd missed the titles: sorry for the confusion.

This afternoon I had a cortizone injection in my shoulder for damage sustained during the Burn Night Ceilidh in Edinburgh this year. It has been the worse orienteering related injury of my 11 years in the sport. I'm not sure I'll be fit enough to take part by next January

Your poor thing. Was it actually during the ceilidh or competing

Oh definitely the ceilidh - Mr H just doesn't know his own strength when it comes to Stripping the Willow - my feet completely left the ground - I was black and blue the next day and have ended up with a frozen shoulder

May have to just do a day trip to Edinburgh for the Saturday race
I do love a good 'toss your partner about' ceilidh. Strip the Willow is definitely my favourite, the wilder the better.
