In case anyone hasn't seen the review document yet, it has now appeared on the BOF website.

If you do understand, I can't see how you think we are talking about dumbing down. Certainly, neither I nor Ranald are in favour of that at all. We're both talking about improving the competition for the more fit/able. Fortunately, that can be done whilst catering for the less fit/able as well.
And this group need to be catered for as otherwise you are likely to lose a lot of organising/planning/mapping/etc expertise. Without the less fit/able, you wouldn't have a viable sport in any shape or form, dumbed down or otherwise.

Thanks for the heads-up Scott. I can't see how members (other than those who have been sent copies because of committee membership, etc) would have noticed it as there is no mention of it on the home page.
I wonder if someone could please clarify the intended timescale? If September is the deadline for feedback to be analysed and implementation proposals drafted, what Is the deadline for feedback from clubs, associations, individuals, etc to be received?

The BO website will not let me access this document. Any ideas how I can get to read it, please?

Re: Competition Review
Your club secretary should have received it recently from BOF - you could ask them for a copy. It was sent out a few weeks ago, but then revisions were circulated recently (in the last week, if I remember correctly).

The link that Scott gave above worked for me. As it's quite a large PDF document you need to allow time for it to download and for Acrobat to start up (I assume you have it installed).

The file is a converted Word 2007 document and needs Acrobat 6.0 (or higher)
to successfully read it. You may have a version mismatch.
