BO seem happy to make that distinction. 30% of last year's JWOC team weren't in the Talent Squad for a variety of reasons including both the athletes who achieved the results required by the Sport England targets. I don't think this affected the team spirit which seemed strong during the event, but I suspect all could have benefited from training and competing together more as a squad.
