Disgusted
This is the man from Tunbridge Wells we're talking about?

Tunbridge Wells yes, thanks graeme, closing date Monday 2nd June; and the man in question has already entered. A snippet of local history taken from the urban map to set the scene -
"Tunbridge Wells came into prominence as a spa town
in Georgian times and had its heyday as a tourist
resort under the self-appointed 'Master of
Ceremonies', Beau Nash; when the Pantiles and its
chalybeate spring attracted wealthy visitors who
wished to 'take the waters'.
Later in the early 19th century, the town
experienced growth as a place for the
'well-to-do' to visit and make their homes, with
visits by the Duchess of Kent, Queen Victoria and
Prince Albert renewing its status as a fashionable
resort.
The fictional letter writer stereotype,
"Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells", is a reflection of the
town's reputation as being a bastion of the middle class
and a typical example of 'Middle England'."

Sorry to let you down Sean, but all I could manage is this apology

Since you don't want a poem on Tonbridge,
I hope that you will not take umbrage
Cos I've failed many times
To find something that rhymes
With Wells when it comes after Tunbridge

Blimey, Crikey, Hell's Bells
You can't find a word rhyming with Wells?
Don't give us that, Jim
We know you're not dim
You're just not using your brain cells!

Scansion is also an issue.
Without it verse loses its tissue.
It's more than just rhyme,
As important is tim-
ing, and 'Wells' is just part of the issue.

As you have read, Tonbridge Wells -
Like wasp, tick, bee, sun, midge, smells -
Is being labelled a crime,
but the problem with rhyme:
You can't just apply sundry gels.

Re: New BOF page
Can anyone offer some advice? The new BOF homepage comes up OK on my PC but when I select a menu option it redisplays the homepage in text only.

Can you be a bit more specific? I've just tried a few links from the home page in both member and newcomer view in Internet Explorer 11, Firefox 30 and Chrome 35ish and they're all behaving normally.
Which link does it? Which browser are you using?

Re: New BOF page
I'm using internet explorer, not sure which version. If I acess the results page direct from a google search it works OK but if I select Results from the Events options on the homepage I get the text only homepage.

Re: New BOF page
My last post wasn't quite accurate - if I use the google result to access
http://www.britishorienteering.org.uk/page/results
it comes up with the text home page, but if I modify the google results for a specific event and access
www.britishorienteering.org.uk/index.php?pg=results
it works correctly.
