Good first legs from GBR in the men's, very tightly packed across the top 16, Alan Cherry in 7th, 30s down, Kris Jones in 10th a further 35 back.

And good running from NZ in 11th (9th nation), Mairead Rocke pulled Britain up to 13th (11th nation).

Really interesting racing in the men's on leg 2, with Austria & Poland leading and NZ in 3rd at the head of a pack of 5 (also including Spain, as well as France, Sweden & Czech) 30 seconds down. GBR down to 13th with Matt Halliday, but only 90 seconds down.#
