Martin Ward (although nobody else!) has been reinstated at Ripon, apparently after a control went missing. In the updated results (women, men) he moves into the lead on the Veteran Men's course ahead of Tony Udris.
Elizabeth Parkinson also responded to my invitation to score as a junior rather than a senior at Huntingdon, so points in those two categories have also been amended.

Re: Really the Nopesport Urban League 2010
Thankyou once again, Roger. We have missed you at the last couple of events. I guess my personal honeymoom period is over and I am going to be swept aside as all those 'best of 6' W40s rush past! Great fun though, roll on Sheffield!

Re: Really the Nopesport Urban League 2010
Is there a neater way of finding the current league positions than searching all posts for "urban league" and then using the link from Roger's last post?
http://urbanleague.nopesport.com/, as linked to from the bottom line of the Nopesport Home Page is out of date and has links to 2008 and 2009 leagues, but not to 2010.

With luck the Nope boys will note your comment and take appropriate action, but you could always bookmark the links in one of my posts: the URLs for a given year don't change.

I know chief webmaster Pyrat has escaped the Nope dungeon and is currently cycling in the Arctic circle - I've sent a note to Brooner to see if he can fix the link in Allys's absence.

also St Andrews on the 25th of Sept, using a new map of an awesome little town

There's also a Scottish League (including the JECs) event the next day on Tentsmuir, which was used for Day 5 of the Scottish 6 Days last year. Should be a really good weekend!

Re: Really the Nopesport Urban League 2010
Scores from Sheffield and Lincoln now included in the latest spreadsheets: women, men.
Sorry for the delay: it's been a busy week. Sheffield results in ten separate files and with age-classes that had to be stripped out from the names didn't help much! As usual, please let me know if I've got anything wrong.
The current leaders are Amy Kimberley DVO, Jenny Johnson SYO, Delia Kingsbury WRE, Glenys Ferguson SROC; Michael Adams SYO, Ollie O'Brien SLOW, Charlie Adams SYO and Bill Hanley SYO.
In the Women's Open, Junior Women's and Junior Men's categories it's looking like an attendance competition, although with three races to go there's still scope for several more people to accumulate a full set. In the Veteran Men's category Bill Edwards made his annual winning autumn appearance from New Zealand and may once more have had a decisive effect on the final standings. But there's still plenty of running to be done, with the final races being
18 September - London
25 September - St Andrews
3 October - Warwick.

Thanks for taking the time to calculate the scores. In the women's open, my bet is on Jenny Johnson to remain at the top, and I do agree that it has been a bit of an attendance competition again.

Yes he's throwing a small fortune at the physiotherapist - or he might just build her a wardrobe instead

Ollie is going to be N/C at London and both he and Ed are doing Warwick so my money is on Ed taking the lead.

Hmmm... Liam Harrington's result from Sheffield is currently missing, so he'll be at the top when that comes in.
Overall, I think it'll be a showdown between Ed and Liam, and down to how they perform at the London & Warwick races, unless one of the other contenders, such as Oli Johnson, runs in all 3 of the remaining events.
