Firefox has an 'IE view' add-on.
Once you have this installed, it is a simple matter to jump to Internet Explorer if a web site doesn't work for Firefox. I find it is very rare that I need to use it, and I can't off the top of my head think of any orienteering site for which it is necessary.

...BOF website also doesn't work from here, due to that Flash header! Not sure why I didn't check before - don't really tend to use the BOF website much in work I guess.

Don't think this has been mentioned before, but why on earth can't the BOF website frontpage be more like http://www.britishorienteering.org.uk/event/about.php
Lots of useful links there, unlike the proper front page, where you have to guess which button to click in the top menu to get to ranking lists for instance. Noting that as mentioned above I can't actually see the top menu at the moment anyway! Of course there are some things you can't link to from there, but surely they could also be included on that sidebar? Nice old-fashioned HTML which works just fine (with a little bit of JavaScript also thrown in).
To be very topical, it's worth pointing out that the current BOF website won't work on an Apple iPad.
Do you think anybody involved in developing the BOF website is actually likely to read all this, or are we just ranting at thin air? If not, who do you suggest we should contact with our suggestions?

There is no reason to suppose that they are. The site does not carry an explicit webmaster link but experience suggests that e-mails to info@britishorienteering.org.uk are likely to get forwarded in the right direction. I understand from other threads that the Chief Exec is also quite responsive to e-mail. (See http://www.britishorienteering.org.uk/contactus/index.php)

That's the message.
If you want changes to be considered email Mike Hamilton with your idea or concern.
If enough folk agree with you BOF are more likely to spend money to reflect your wishes.
