Re: Jukola/Venla
So the question changes to "How long can they keep SYO in sight?"
Possibly the slowest Orienteer in the NE but maybe above average at 114kg

Re: Jukola/Venla
The SYO 2nd team and the Scottish old men may well be quite closely matched. Should be an interesting battle...
Interesting that there appears to be more strong British teams than at the Harvester. Perhaps the Harvster trophy could be awarded to the leading British team in future?

Re: Jukola/Venla
Don't know if someone is having a laugh but our team number is 666
. Don't know if that's a good or bad omen.
By the way, we're still looking for a fourth runner for our Venla team so if you want a run just drop me a line or look for us on Saturday morning.

Gross wrote:SYO team looks good for a top result.... not sure what best result from a UK team is but 44th in 1993 or 4 by GB rings a bell....
We were 41st in 1993.
The race between SYO and Scotland (Edinburgh) is perfect.
Just what I had hoped to see happen.
Competition creates pressure, creates quality.
If people race like this they will move up and up the results board
and bit by bit will form the belief that they can be, indeed are, as good as anyone out there.
Great Britons
Go guys.
If you could run forever ......
