There seems to be a serious disconnect between the people moaning and the people who are pampering them with very low cost services.

Quite. It's annoying when you know if you were doing the results it would have been done. It's like all those times you did the thankless task and did it well are valued even less. Actually mostly I find people do thank you.

Put as an analogy: It's annoying to get crap courses when you know the area can support better. This is something we'd get annoyed about so why not poor levels of results service.

Again - not directed at anyone individually - just something we should strive to do. It improves the image of the sport having timely well presented results - hence perhaps bringing in sponsorship etc.
