Also interesting that BOF seems really prepared for the anticipated rush of keen, new sports people wanting to take part in all sorts of sports... the headline on the website introduces all these new comers to a list of courses for club & event officials

Better BO home page now, but had to chuckle at the first photo which seems to show a nice lady running in a pancake race.......

If only that nice lady had taken training seriously rather than doing pancake races, it would have been gold rather than silver at this year's JK.

Usual BO standard of photos, better get a better camera for the national office, a Kodak Brownie comes to mind.
Ho ho rush of newcomers, what has the exec officer done? Moved the Sept renewal to Nov, so any interested souls will be lost by the time Nov & bad weather comes

If Nov and bad weather puts them off then they were never really interested anyway. I can't find any reference to that and I don't see that it is hugely significant. It's probably got something to do with the new membership fees which will be more attractive to new members anyway.
