Kieren, I guess you could say that track cycling is widely practiced.
Synchronised swimming, dunno, but most people have done synchronised bombing by the time they are 10
Seriously though, if orienteering were a global sport, rather than a predominantly niche european sport then it surely would have more chance of getting in the olympics... at least that's what the article is saying.
