Long qualification has started. Anna Forsberg is the first (and so far only) woman through the first radio control. Heather Gardner and Helen Palmer should not be far behind.

All five look as though have qualified. Great result. Helen Palmer not running. Sick last week so just doing Middle and Relay.

She is, especially despite some injury interrupted training. Some good safe qualification races, bring on the finals!

Scott going well, 2nd split at first radio and in the process of reeling in the two guys in front of him. Hector, Mark and Ewan looking borderline..

looks like it, currently 13th with 3 guys ahead of him at 2nd radio, the rest further back. Not so good news for the others with Ant, Ewan, Hector and Dave missing out.

Under half the winning time but definitely long style with long legs and route choice. Reasonable since those who run every event will have seven races in seven days.

Brilliant runs by all the women plus Scotia and Mharky to qualify for the A Final on Friday.
