Glad I'm not running W21E - Bulletin 3 says

"Control descriptions will be printed on the competition maps; loose copies will also be available in the start lanes. Sizes vary, those for M21E measure 22 x 6 cm while for W21E, they measure 180 x 6 cm." Somewhat unwieldy...

... at this weekend's Scottish Jubilee 5 Days I am looking for volunteers to (wo)man the string course in half hour or so blocks on the relay and middle distance days. The organising clubs are short on manpower and I offered to help out by planning/map making and finding some on-the-day helpers - it was that or no string courses! Any offers please can you pm me? Thanks!

Is there a Friday registration where you can pick up the programme or do you just pick it up on the Saturday?
My Inver training map looks fun. Must start running again.

No registration on Friday - pick everything up on Saturday at Glen Feardar.

We won't get sun stroke If it's rainy for the relay it's a bit miserable but cloud is OK.
It's much better than the 5 days of torrential rain my (and Mrs H's) oringen had a couple of years ago.

The Adventure Show is coming through Braemar on the Saturday. Dougie Vipond is cycling the 300k Snow Roads audax. The leaders are expected in Braemar at around 5. The Fife Arms Hotel is one of their controls.
Is there a spare SOA banner that could be put nearby advertising the Scottish champs?

Sorry Frog -I think all Maroc members (and helpers from other clubs) will be tied up with a wee O event at Glen Feardar at that time. However if you are volunteering I'm sure SOA can rustle up a banner for display.....
