Agreed and good stuff is being done by clubs, so the drip..drip...will feed through..will the Olympics legacy - aftermath of the Olympics with everyone in the nation keen to get fit it would be good a time for another push...I would have thought the Parkrun would expect a large take up, might be a bit harder for us. I am currently hammering a mate of mine to do a fell race on the weekend. He is very fit, is a triathlete, is training for an ironman...but trying to get him to the Cribyn fell race this weekend Perception is everything..his last comment was that the weather looks bad for Sat, they fear the unknown. Happy to spend 75mins on a treadmill, or 3 hrs on a bike, 2 hours on a smooth paved track..get their feet wet..I don't think so. And the frustrating this is that I know he would love it!

This is a key bit of advice, website search engines look for words, so abbreviations son't work. This is one of the reasons why British Orienteering want us to stop using BOF as a description . Every time you start to type BOF, SOA, ECKO etc. think about using the full name that includes orienteering or orienteers, as it's more descriptive.
