Perhaps it's time BOF found a new Insurer.

I agree with that view.
The amount of time and effort that was required to record string course entries at the 6 Days (an insurance requirement) was enormous and even worse when you consider there is no entry fee.
There are many other people at orienteering events who don't compete or participate in the string course that could claim some injury or other was down to the organisers, and we don't record them.
Surely it should be a claimants responsibility to prove they were at an event rather than us having to provide the proof.
It would be worth paying another insurer more if this was not part of the requirements for cover.

Club secretary has sent us the BOF info following the conference.
Democracy comes at a price - I like a bit of sports politics but reading 34 pages ---- well!!!!
Looks like the "decision" to keep "federation" in the name and keep association reps might just have saved British orienteering.
What hope now of a Scottish etc breakaway ?
My question is who decides who the "experts" are?
