I'm just finalising an event and assigning control descriptions to locations and I've been struck how often I've been thinking of a location as " path junction" (i.e. we'll guide the White course down this path at the junction) and I've just put a different description down because, for example, there is a wall corner there as well and it creates variety. So the converse is true; a site could have one description on the CD's and have another one possible on the ground possibly replicated on another course nearby -without the code how would you be sure?

... and how close together controls are and whether they are on similar features ...
(yes, I know there are rules / guidelines but ......)
