So, even when the course itself has not been that great, the whole event package has often been better than is often available at a 'standard' event.

I agree totally with this comment. It is part of the reason that the only events I've done since the summer have been urban events, even though the optimum terrain for my orienteering skills is probably technically challenging, light green forest, i.e. the total opposite of urban terrain.

no cookies - my browser settings are so tight the family won't use it! - and I believe our ISP uses dynamic IP addresses. but I'm no IT geek and I didn't try it.
