Wait and see what happens when it's 3 per Nation and GBR have all their best runners out, terrain that we've had 2-3 training camps in and are anyway more accustomed to, funding, some staff, maybe a physio AND we're peaking for it...
I reckon you can add a few % to these performances just from the fact we've had an extra chance to gel as a team and speak to the coach. Amazing how it feels inside the team vs. what the outsiders perceive. I sense loads of positives for GBR from this EOC. If you're inclined to sit behind a computer and bitch about stuff you'll always find stuff to bitch about.

Just wait til everyone's finished their exams / writing grant applications and done some more training - you do know that a lot of these guys & girls we're racing are basically full time now right? Trying to rock out a double peak is much harder for those of us who have to work for a living, do our own washing and cook our own meals (doesn't Annika Billstam live with her parents?). We'll try to manage a single peak!
This reads like a big pile of excuses. Can't speak for the others but I'm certainly not making excuses. Barring one bout of illness things are going moreorless to the plan. Two days ago an o race in my hometown was canceled because of too much snow in the terrain. My season is still just getting started and for me EOC was a great start!
