Latest tables sent to BOF after the Welsh Champs.
John Britton is the only remaining person with 100% attendance, and all in the top 3.
Kerry Willacy still leads W35 despite having come last in the 4 races she has attended.
The W80s are finally off the mark.

Hi Eddie,
Fame at last. Though I admit I preferred to think of my results as a 10th, 3rd, 4th and 5th, I can't really argue with the validity of your assessment!
Have really enjoyed the events I've attended as part of the series so far. And someone has to come last. Normally I would try the short course so it has been good to try the longer distances.
If the aim of the Masters Cup is to increase participation, then it has worked for me. Anyway no-one calls you a prima-donna when you are last (or 5th as i'd prefer it to be known!).
Happy orienteering all.
Kerry.

Or however many other Donnas show up on any given weekend! Amend as appropriate!

I'm glad you took it in good part. I have refrained from saying anything to date, but was somewhat amused by the situation.
Quetion is how long can you stay on top?

Re: UK Masters Cup 2011
Eddie-don't worry I can see the humour in the situation. But it does underline the problem with low numbers in this age category. Particularly at some of the smaller events. You can only compete against those that turn up. It would just be nice if one would be slower than me just once!
Lead will be lost next weekend and rightly so. I've no wish to spoil the competition for the talented orienteers. But I have enjoyed the range of events so far and looking forward to those coming up too.
Happy orienteering
Kerry.

Don't be so hard on yourself! Top half of the field is nothing to be ashamed of at Dalrulzion.

Yes, in Italian. But I was writing in English where the plural is prima donnas.

He's just trying to show he's getting to grips with Italian before he moves out there later this year

I don't know about Italian but isn't the plural in Latin potentially "donnae"?
Possibly the slowest Orienteer in the NE but maybe above average at 114kg

Eddie's done and is doing a fantastic job in promoting this, however its visiblity on the BO website does not complement his efforts. It needs 5 'clicks' (having first taken a motion sickness tablet) and several intelligent assumptions to find the tables. The same applies to the UK Cup. Any casual visitors to the site would be totally unaware of the existence of these competitions.

Potentially, yes, but it's not actually a Latin word. Italian "donna" is a corruption of Latin "domina", so the Latin would be "primae dominae".
