Has Orienteering Today folded? Are they running off with our money? Do they seriously intent to produce 4 more editions this year?

Does anyone know?

They are usually late but not this late. Little chance of getting seven issues in this year.

According to someone at "Alternativet" the company hasn't been paying its bills lately and thus nobody wants to print their magazine.
This is to be treated as a rumour though and definitely not as a fact.

Hope it doesn't go same way as "Handrail" in 1996. Was an interesting alternative to Compass Sport but disappeared after just 4 issues (was a tad miffed as I paid for 6 or 7 issues and the last 2 or 3 never materialised, nor did any explanation of what happened.

CompassSport has a totally different remit and is designed for a much wider readership. If you don't get it you should have another look. Nick is doing a fantastic job in this regard.

If you don't like something about compasssport send nick an email -without comments we can't change anything. Please don't make unconstructive whinging comments on here.

I despair of the English language and its capacity to be misunderstood!
I meant that CompassSport always exceeds Orienteering Today in quality and content, but that OT nevertheless sets a high standard for CS to exceed, which it always does!
