Did anyone else in London (or thereabouts) see this?
Will post up a scan/photo this evening when I get home, but I was amazed to see orienteering mentioned in the metro as something to do in London under the title "New sport experiences". It even has the photo of an elite female runner (from world cup races I think).

here we go
Gives an ok account of orienteering, but any publicity is good publicity. Could have done with being the bof website though, as havoc's isn't the most appealing (no offense!)

Re: Orienteering in today's metro!
I missed this, having given up on the Metro a while ago! Spotted the "in association with visitlondon.com" in the corner, so thought I'd check their website for consistency and (albeit fairly buried), here it is:

Well done to HAVOC for getting the coverage! Although I agree, their website could do with a revamp. Not that ours is much better!

I bet korfball get a higher take-up than orienteering as a result of that article.

Could have been much worse though, at least there wasn't any pyjamas or backpacks on show!
