The info for the Scottish 6 day Sprint Race states that 'built up areas are mapped according to IOF sprint map norm. Certain symbols differ from the "normal" orienteering maps'
As the Kingussie race is my first 'town' race could anyone supply a link to where these symbols may be viewed?

I will be putting up some details at the event and probably in the 6-Days event centre in Grantown to cover this. To be honest, there are not that many differences (on this specific map) given the nature of the town but it is still worth knowing. Thanks to those who have already posted links to further information.
