must say my course was excellent...lots of route choices and a chance to use fine navigation...as for the distance...it was a good indicator of where my fitness is at the moment! so full marks! thanks for an awsome event! wish there were more top quality events like this one around!

The various proposals for accommodating SOL Elite courses, where the area / terrain make them worthwhile, sound excellent - it's a shame I'm unlikely to be capable of trying them
Maybe at the same time there should be some flexibility given to planners to vary course combinations in the toughest conditions - if a course provides a severe test for W21E, then it's almost inevitable that many M21S are going to struggle - it's not about fitness, it's about ability or otherwise to navigate at speed.
