While taking a walk in Brecon Beacons National Park after the JK, I ran across an Ordinance Survey map on the ground, with an orienteering course marked on it. (A triangle near Talybont Reservoir, several circles with lines between them, and a few finish circles mixed in, the last at Ystradfellte.) Looks like a multi-stage mountain marathon maybe? The map was about a kilometer upstream from control four, and a half kilometer from control 13, on a sheep trail on the lower part of a steep slope.
Just curious, I figured that someone here would know what it was about. The map is in decent shape, so I figure it can't have been out there long, surely not a year I think, maybe much less. It's Ordinance Survey Explorer OL12 Brecon Beacons National Park West & Central Areas.
Any info that would sate my curiosity?

The terrain for the event is some of the best in Canada. Very detailed topography. Well worth the trip. (And an enjoyable lakes district for afterwards I understand.)
Surprisingly, some of the best Canadian terrain is in the prairies, where ancient glacial lakes left vast areas of sand dunes, which later became vegetated. But this area is particularly sweet.
