I will be organising a mini series of beginner/intermediate courses in the summer of next year, 3 events within a month in a confined area of South Manchester. The idea is to attract and retain people from the local area, hopefully schools included. We will have colour coded and a score (using the same controls). Small award for the winners.
What I am interested in is how other people have operated a scoring system for mini series which turns out a winner who has performed consistently well at all events (obviously if there is somone winning all the series events they will win whatever the system).
I have looked at the Cumbrian Gallopen system which could be adapted but has anyone else got any ideas or advice ? Even if it is advice on what to avoid because it did not work this will be useful.

TVOC Summer Series has a fairly simple system; score 3 from 3 and it would probably give you what you want.
