Yes you've got to give it to Novikov, it took a lot of bottle to hold it together after what happened earlier in the week. He's been flying but making mistakes, today he did it just right while others fell under the pressure. His first 2 runners did a great job to put him up there of course.
I see Lauenstein is blaming getting caught in the eye with a branch for his poor run, which is bad luck, and I know how painful it can be too.
