Marky DQ - apparently he's been suffering with his back but I have no idea if the DQ is related. Heather has just come in - 6th place with 13 left to finsh. Janine is in 11th. Karen in 17th. Lots left to finish in mens

Thanks for keeping us posted Toni.
I'm so busy decorating I haven't managed to be on-line (don't tell Janine).
Some fabby results! Well done Heather, Bruce, Janine and Karen. And Charlie - not bad for a granny!
I hope the team are in good spirits and enjoying the sunny weather (Andy and Janine - it's expected to be 25 and sunny all weekend for rat-racers).

Am I right in thinking Heather has 6 minutes to catch on the last leg to make the podium?
Go Heather! It must be pretty tricky because the times are so variable.
I daresay Austria have Micheala on last leg so - maybe if Heather can catch her and go round with her!
I'm not wishing for much am I!

We got on the podium again...yeah!! 6th this time. More competition and much trickier nav than last year. None of us girlies had a great time, although Hev was having a clean ride until she tried going round one of the loops the wrong way!! On the podium later tonight, whahey!! Lads were 10th so record best for them too...excellent!!

I presume that's because they only count one team from each country, and there are 3 second teams in front of the men and 2 in front of the women.
