Don't know if anyone read the bbc feature last year on Arthur Boyt's (SW orienteer) unusual eating habits...
http://www.bbc.co.uk/insideout/southwes ... kill.shtml
But I recently came across a similar Swedish feature, published a month ago in the "Aftonbladet".
http://www.aftonbladet.se/vss/nyheter/s ... 35,00.html
Translation of the first bit...
“I eat most of what I find along the roadside says the human vulture – Arthur Boyt, 66.
The pensioned English chemist Arthur Boyt picked up his first run-over pheasant when he was 13.
“I took it home to mum who put it in the pot, he says to the Aftonbladet.
And that’s the way it is.
And it even finishes with a mention of his orienteering...
Arthur tells how he has never been ill. He is in exceptional form.
“Last year I became English champion in orienteering. I paddled round the Isle of Wight a while ago and I do long runs in the mountains.
Arthur Boyt's Swedish fame...

The same article was published in the latest edition of Skogssport (the Swedish equivalent of CompssSport). I will be more careful what I read at the breakfast table in future.
