That's great, but what is it doing on the BOF website? As far as I can tell they do not have any marketing deals with Travelodge, are they selling advertising now???

I believe there may be something in the next issue of Focus. Should be out very soon.

There was some deal in, I think, Focus a while back but never anything available when I tried to use the code with Travelodge. It's like the YHA discount - only for new members of BOF. Just signing up to Travelodge gets you early info on offers.

As far as I know, the Travelodge discount is available for all BOF members. Considering my parents got the discount when they stayed at a Travelodge a couple of months ago, and that they have been BOF members for a number of years, I don't think the "new members" statement is correct.

Just found the information on the BOF website (check under "marketing" and benefits"). All are for "current BOF members".

Travelodge seem to do random discounts to all on their website, but they're unpredictable. At the start of October I got a family room at Skipton on a Friday night for £20 (for a canoeing event). When looking for Kyloe (yes, I am going from the Midlands) the rate on offer at Cramlington was £65 for the Saturday night !! so I'm not staying there.
