Information on the IOF website at last - World Games delayed release but hopefully everyone is now on a level playing field/rocky knoll

More area information in the public domain now.

Further to the announcements on the website on the 1st August and information contained in Bulletin 1, it is planned to stage the Middle Distance and Relay events at Darnaway. The Long Distance race will be staged in Glen Affric. Further details on the Sprint Races (Relay, Qualifier and Final) will be included in Bulletin 2.
EMBARGOED AREA UPDATE
Area 12 (Docharn and Deishar) is no longer embargoed. Area 6 has been extended to include Rogie and Creag Ulladail. Area 13 (Reelig Glen, west of Inverness) is a new embargoed area.

Re: WOC 2015 area information
Looks like the cottage I have booked for 2015 is just in an embargoed area (although if they use this bit of Darnaway they will need to build that bridge again).
Guess I'd better take myself out of the selection process for the middle and relays.

I remember crossing that to help bring controls in.... it was a bit bouncy
Not sure it would've been too much fun going full blast across it.....

Go orienteering in Lithuania......... best in the world:)

I'm sure race-wieght runners caused much less bouncing.

Didn't bounce too much when I ran across it (at full tilt) and it was a lot easier
than going down to the river and then climbing back up the other side
(but I was a little older when I did the climbing bit).

To clarify: Gross kindly left the controls out the day after the Individual Champs for us all to run round the Championship courses. Only the Men's Course crossed the bridge.
