A club member, running M65 with a fancy new latest version SI card, had about half the units fail to register on Sunday and reverted to pin-punching his map.

I believe that the DEE units worked but the ERYRI units did not with the latest dibbers.
Agree fantastic terrain and great event. Perhaps 3.8 km a bit short for the best M65s? I took 37 and am no 'star' which means my friend (10 times BOC Champion) Andy Hemsted (65 next year) would have been close to 30 I suspect.

In brief, BOF guidelines for the blue and green courses suggest 25%-30% longer, but the actual lengths planned are not seen to be outside common practice and expectations.
