So, controls are being put out as we speak ...
So how about some predictions:
So how about some predictions:
- Who will win each class?
- What will the winningt time be for this technical "Sprint" event and will they be as advertised?
- How many will be happier with (allegedly) short course lengths for Sunday when they have the JOK Chasing Sprint in their legs?
- How many minutes will it take to enter Newborough to get through the turnstile?

For anyone wondering about seashore route choices (or even a stroll out to Llanddwyn Island), here are the tide tables for this weekend (don't forget to adjust for daylight saving):

While I am at it, here is the weather forecast:

Looking good for the Chases!

The Results show that the answers to the first two questions are:
- Code: Select all
M16- Michael Hallett BOK M16 24:40(1) 34:01(1) = 58:41
MOpen Sander Vaher SBOC M21 19:44(2) 21:38(1) = 41:22
M40+ Martin Bagness WAROC M50 20:15(1) 26:35(1) = 46:50
M55+ James Crawford GO M55 24:24(7) 26:09(1) = 50:33
W16- Elen Norris ERYRI W14 34:55(1) 38:26(1) = 73:21
WOpen Heather Burrows LOC W21 24:44(3) 27:47(2) = 52:31
W40+ Jackie Hallett BOK W55 26:46(2) 32:35(1) = 59:21
W55+ Linda Pakuls GO W55 26:41(1) 36:48(1) = 63:29
Sander Vaher and Heather Burrows came from behind to win when the young Prologue leaders Dane and Julie lost time in the Chase. Bilbo had a huge ten-minute win and Jackie impressed, running up and showing the youngsters how to do it.
But the best race of the day was on M55+, where James Crawford led home a sprinting pack of five, after glorious confusion in the gaffled section, carnage in the mid-green area and the lead changing hands several times on the last loop as the pressure told.
Congratulations to all the winners!
