I love this photo. This is what you should look like if you are putting in the correct amount of effort on the run-in.

Thanks for making these available so quickly Wendy. Have used some for the local & regional press in this part of the world (as well as Moravian's FB page). Makes a big difference to have decent photos available so quickly when deadlines have to be met.

Does anyone know who the photographer was hiding in a gully on the relay course. There should be some good action shots from his position. Hope they are on-line soon.

I think it might have been Mark Cheesman http://www.flickr.com/photos/mjcimages I met someone looking like him in the gully just after the spectator control.

Mark Cheesman was there on the day, doing photos for
CompassSport. I will ask him if he intends to put them online before
the next issue of CompassSport comes out

As I'd scouted out the least-brashed exit from the start wide left, I managed to miss the camera - a good job as all other photos of me at the weekend I looked terrible!
