Camilla Long in the Sunday Times Style section (I don't really read this) said:
"I am always puzzled by bra fitting - it's like orienteering. You have no idea what you're doing then suddenly you get this bizarre set of co-ordinates".
I won't go on any more...

Having spent a couple of years working at Canniesburn plastic surgery unit in the 90s, I was probably more skilled at bra fitting than I am at orienteering, if sadly out of practice at the former...

Top [bra/orienteering] tip:
The figure of eight clasp (people also may refer to it as a ladderlock/triglide) from an old bra makes an excellent replacement for the standard plastic equivalent on a thumb compass/si or emit card/CD holder. Repaired my thumb compass in this way years ago and it's still going strong.

I remember the winners of the British Elite Sprints getting underwear for prizes - the company were one of the sponsors.

SYO was sponsored by Panache a few years ago. Their running bras are very good (apparently).

I seem to remember Guinness getting plenty of exposure both on and off the podium before alcohol sponsors were banned(?) post Peter Dominic. Hard to mistake their product for most contemporary apres-O beverages.

When I was a student guinees used to sponsor a marathon round London. Every few miles there was a stand with free guiness on it. Completely mad as a concept but very popular with the students.
