I note 2 strange things about the Dunblane event the day before the next SOL.
Firstly the FVO site describes it as a sprint event. The details do not suggest this. What is the truth?
Secondly the closing date for entries on oentries is said to be October 1, nearly 3 weeks in advance. Surely not, or is there going to be a fee hike?

I guess not as it has now been changed to 14th October 2012

Its described as an Urban event if you hunt a bit further on the FVO site. It may be the way the FVO site is set up there isnt a category for urban to "describe" the event on the fixture list.
Orienteering - its no walk in the park

It is presently described as an "Urban Sprint".

Not on here
http://fvo.org.uk/events/2012/oct/20/dunblane/
or here!
http://fvo.org.uk/media/events/2012/sep/22/Dunblane/2012-soul6-flyer.pdf
Either way it'll be a fantastic race I'm certain. If youre worried about what distance to peak for, collar the planner Mr Dean at the CSC/T final on Sunday!

Re: Dunblane event questions
Yes it does it says type "Sprin" at the top and just below the map there is a link called "Sprint overview" which takes you to http://fvo.org.uk/events/sprint/sprint/, which is a larger map for locating the event titled "Sprint".
Ok, but there is nothing about course lengths, only classes.
