Re: 2012 membership cards
last year i renewed by cheque as I have 3 memberships, they renewed the national family one, the local junior one, but not the national junior for my nephew. To save confusion, did all separately online!

Re: 2012 membership cards
The BOF website is doing its best to stop me renewing. I was a family member last year and am trying to renew as an individual member.
On the membership renewal page the only option it gives is family membership. It says If you currently have a family membership and want to become an individual member please use the Become An Individual Member buttons on the My Account page.
But on the My Account page it says Your membership has lapsed. You need to renew your membership before you can access this section

Re: 2012 membership cards
I had a similar problem last year but in reverse (going from single membership to family membership).
So apart from enjoying a good moan
what should we do? The membership options are quite complicated and building a membership IT system isn't as straightforward as it sounds. Perhaps BOF don't have the budget to fix all these anomolies? A simplier membership system should be cheaper to build/maintain and be less buggy, but no doubt would cause complaints from those who would loose out.

Re: 2012 membership cards
I haven't even got my membership card yet but it doesn't really matter because I didn't even show it to anyone last year and did a fair amount of O
