MV event 15 January
Does anyone know anything about this event. It's on the fixture list as a Level B event (Pre Entry), but there are no details of anything on their club website. Has it been downgraded to Level c so that it can be EOD?

Re: MV event 15 January
The original location (South Ashdown) had a usage conflict. The replacement area
(Ashtead and Epsom) fell foul of the requirements of Natural England -- apparently we will disturb the (nesting) birds
. (Although we are still awaiting the official notice explaining why they refused a consent to the landowners(x2).)
A second alternative is being looked at to ensure that the map is still OK (the landowner got some money to remove rhodies) and as soon as this is sorted the details will be put up. It is likely that there will be pre-entries and once the Regional Fixtures Sec. has agreed it may well be a level B (still).

Event is now back on, and IMHO in a better area. Details on the MV website http://www.mvoc.org. Downgraded to Level C due to the new area not meeting the Level B embargo requirements (i.e. it has been used for a local event too recently).

Bump!
Wouldn't normally promote an event here, but Natural England's prevarication and obstruction has hampered our normal publicity machine. Cheap online entries close 8th January. Details http://www.mvoc.org
