Anyone from NGOC here?
Who can confirm that Chris James is OK? He fell near me in High Vinnals on Sunday and I'd like to know if he has recovered - I note he didn't start on Monday but he did seem all right when he released me from my obligations under rule 28 after I'd got a rest by sitting with him.
Possibly the slowest Orienteer in the NE but maybe above average at 114kg

Re: Anyone from NGOC here?
Andy, thanks, Chris is fine. He grazed his back, shoulder and head, so rather than risk slipping in the wet, decided we would be better employed on Monday looking after our two grandsons whilst their parents had a run.
He very much appreciates your help and the fact you stayed with him until he felt able to return unaided and he walked back without any problems.

No thanks are needed - I did what anyone would have done in the circumstances.
I'm glad to hear he is OK - it was quite a tumble he took and I was worried. Just let him know the next control wasn't quite where we'd decided it was- it was a little further down the slope.
