BOF have announced the passinfg away of Elizabeth a long time member of SO. She weas a real legend - WMOC Champion at W90 a couple of years ago. A great lady. Commisserations to Sarah, Paul, Ralph and Greg and all her family

Have fond memories of driving all over Europe with Elizabeth.... and some of her strange prizes :)
Go orienteering in Lithuania......... best in the world:)

I saw a lot of Elizabeth in this past year when she and Margaret were the sole English speaking peole in a Swiss hospital. Despite being very frail and tired she was always her normal kind polite self with a good deal of dry humour. She was a massive help to Margaret during a very hard and painful time for her.

She won her first of many British titles in 1980 as a W56 (the oldest class then available)
