These items are being taken to the Scottish Championships Individual race, leaving this afternoon, Friday. If you won’t be there perhaps you can get a clubmate to contact me to collect. Signal permitting, I can be contacted on 0770 928 5102. I will be in a green VW campervan, registration SK58 WBW.
If unclaimed they will be with me in Scotland until the following weekend but can be posted if required. From Sunday evening until Tuesday lunchtime I hope to pick up e-mails on norma dot atherton at uwclub.net.

Was hoping someone would be honest enough to hand in the waterproof bag with distinctive thermal top in (not available in UK) left at Holme Fell but no luck

Re: lost property from Bigland and Holme Fell
Lost my 40-year-old whistle at Bigland when the chord it was on round my neck broke. I was carrying it when I started - honest - and did not know it had gone until changing after finishing.
I'm not expecting to see it again.
Sorry for littering the slopes of Bigland with a bit of plastic.

Re: lost property from Bigland and Holme Fell
I found a whistle in Brazier's wood on Wednesday 400 miles in 4 days isn't bad.
In the past I've lost a sighting compass and found it dangling on the bush that must have snagged it two weeks later - also numerous pens whilst mapping and twice dropped and recovered the car keys whilst placing controls pre-event. The only thing currently outstanding is a pair of secateurs (well the brambles were nasty near the control) lost in West Harling last Autumn (we did recover the vandalised control two weeks after the event).
